The Angel in My Hand: A Mysterious Moment that Changed My Spiritual Path

The Start of My Connection to the Angelic Realm

Many years ago, early in my spiritual journey while training as a Reiki practitioner, I had an unforgettable experience, one that still resonates deeply and fills me with awe. It was a moment that pointed to a loving presence beyond the visible world.

During one of our Reiki practice sessions, I was channelling energy for a woman who lay peacefully with her eyes closed. When the session ended, she looked at me and said something I’ll never forget:

“I saw an angel in your hand.”

I was stunned. At the time, I didn’t know what to make of it. I hadn’t seen anything myself, and I was still finding my way on this spiritual path. Then, months later, at a Reiki group meeting in another county, a different woman said exactly the same thing. She’d seen it too. An angel. In my hand.

These women barely knew me, and they didn’t know each other at all. And yet both had seen the same thing.  It left me both moved and mystified.

The experiences stayed with me. I didn’t talk about them much, but I couldn’t forget them either. Before long, they gently nudged me to explore the angelic realm more deeply, leading me to train as an Angel Therapy Practitioner.

Although my dominant, achievement-driven mind led me away from working with angels professionally for quite some time, the thread of angelic energy never left. It remained a quiet but powerful current beneath my work in the helping profession.

Many years later, still pondering what they might mean, a spiritual mentor encouraged me to trust the possibility that what those women saw was real. He suggested I use my imagination to gently build a relationship with this presence, to connect with it in my own way, and see how it might support my work.

Since then, this presence has become part of my daily spiritual practice. Each morning, I connect with my soul, spirit, guardian angel… and now, with this angel in my hand. I invite it to support me, and to help send healing out into the world, wherever it’s needed most.

Embracing Angelic Support in My Work Today

Now, with Heart & Soul Awakening, I embrace this beautiful angelic energy openly in my work too. I weave it together with my background in psychology, coaching, mindfulness, and compassion, offering grounded, heart-centred support.

To me, angelic energy isn’t about dogma or giving away our power.
It’s about remembering that we are held, supported, and guided, especially when life feels uncertain or difficult. It’s about tuning into the quiet, wise presence within and around us.
